This course will help participants acquire the fundamental knowledge of basic skills to assist and support electrical maintenance works. The course prepares both individuals new to electrical field as well as electrical craftsperson in the early stage of their careers.

  3. Electrical installation, maintenance and commissioning methods
  4. Understanding of cable installation
  5. Basic troubleshooting of electrical
  6. Understanding of Hazardous Area and IECEx equipment installation

Certification
Upon completion and passing of all required assessments, participants will receive a formal recognition through the award of a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by (SSG).

This course is suitable to wide range of technical personnel but will greatly benefit electrical assistance technician and maintenance technician or professional who will be responsible for maintenance electrical system. Adult learners who complete this course can work for Energy & Chemical industries to assist and support electrical maintenance works.

  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent with basic electrical knowledge.

    All applications are to be submitted (with full documentation) via email (enquiry@atts-asia.com) at least 7 working days prior to course commencing date. Successful applicants will receive the course confirmation and payment advisory email. Registration is only confirmed upon full payment of course fees.

    For Application – Document Submission

    The applicant will need to complete an enrolment form before the course to assess their entry requirement. If the applicant does not meet the entry requirement, they will be asked to submit their work experience/resume to determine their suitability. An interview may be done to assess their suitability too.

    Criteria for WSQ Funding* to be eligible, participants:

    1. Must be Singaporeans or Permanent Residents of Singapore
    2. May be employer-sponsored, self-sponsored or unemployed
    3. Achieve 100% attendance
    4. Pass all required assessments
    5. Eligibility acceptance subject to final approval by WSQ before course commencement

    *Participants who do not fulfill the above criteria are not eligible for WSQ funding & certification, and are required to pay the course fee in full.

    • Delegates are required to bring their own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including Coveralls, Safety goggles, Hand gloves & Safety shoes.
    • Kindly note that participation in the practical activity is subject to having the appropriate PPE. The training centre reserves the right to restrict participation if proper PPE is not worn.
    • Delegates are required to bring a valid photographic identification for verification purposes. (e.g. Passport, Driving license, or any other official photo identification.)
    • Failure to present a valid ID may result in denied entry to the course or assessment.
