1. Funding (If applicable)
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) may be eligible for government funding for selected courses, subject to the prevailing eligibility criteria and approval by the relevant funding agencies.
To qualify for funding, candidates (whether self-sponsored or company-sponsored) must:

  • Achieve a minimum attendance of 75% of the course duration;
  • Complete all required assessments; and
  • Be certified as Competent, where applicable.

Failure to meet the above requirements may result in the forfeiture of the applicable funding. The candidate and/or sponsoring company shall be responsible for payment of the full course fee.
Funding schemes available for selected programmes include:

  • SkillsFuture Credit (SFC)
  • Maritime Cluster Fund (MCF) – Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (selected STCW programmes only)
  • Workfare Skills Support (WSS), where applicable
  • SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy (MCES)

Should any funding application be rejected or subsequently withdrawn by the relevant funding agency for any reason, the candidate and/or sponsoring company shall be liable for the outstanding course fees.

2. Registration
Course registration is confirmed only when the candidate or sponsoring company has received the official Joining Instructions issued by ATTS.

3. Substitution of Candidate
A substitute candidate may attend the same course on the same scheduled date provided that:

  • Written notification is received at least five (5) working days before the course commencement; and
  • The request is submitted via email to enquiry@atts-asia.com.

Substitution is subject to ATTS’ approval and the substitute candidate meeting all course prerequisites.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
All cancellation or rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing.
The following charges apply:

Where a refund is applicable:

  • An administrative fee of S$100.00 per candidate will apply.
  • Any bank charges incurred shall be borne by the candidate or sponsoring company.

If ATTS cancels a course before its commencement, ATTS’ liability shall be limited to a full refund of the course fee paid.

5. No Show / Non-Attendance
No refunds will be granted for non-attendance.

A “No Show” includes:

  • Failure to attend the course;
  • Failure to cancel within the applicable cancellation period;
  • Cancellation after office hours on the last working day before the course; or
  • Withdrawal after the course has commenced.

The full course fee remains payable.

6. Course Cancellation, Changes and Modifications
ATTS reserves the right to amend course schedules, trainers, course fees and course availability without prior notice.

ATTS also reserves the right to cancel or postpone any course at its sole discretion.

Where a course is cancelled by ATTS before commencement, a full refund of the course fee paid will be made. ATTS shall not be responsible for any additional expenses incurred by candidates or sponsoring companies, including but not limited to travel, accommodation or other incidental costs.

7. Replacement of missed classes
Replacement lessons will not be provided for missed classes.

Exceptions may be granted only with prior approval from ATTS (for example, due to a valid Medical Certificate or other exceptional circumstances).

Approved candidates must attend the next available scheduled class.

Only one (1) rescheduling opportunity will be granted per course enrolment.

8. Certification Process

  • Certificates are normally processed within two (2) to three (3) weeks after successful completion of the course.
  • Certificates for company-sponsored candidates will be issued to the sponsoring company.
  • All outstanding payments must be settled before certificates are released.
  • Certificates for short courses will only be issued to candidates who have achieved at least 75% attendance.
  • Candidates enrolled in CompEx programmes must satisfy the entry requirements and successfully complete both the written examination and practical assessment.
  • Candidates must sign the attendance register for every training session attended.
  • ATTS reserves the right to withhold certificates where there are outstanding fees or other administrative matters requiring resolution.

9. Photography and Video Recording
Photographs and/or video recordings may be taken during training sessions.

By attending the course, candidates consent to ATTS using such photographs and recordings for training, marketing and promotional purposes, including publication on ATTS’ website, social media platforms and other communication materials.

10. Force Majeure
ATTS shall not be liable for any delay, postponement or cancellation of any course arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government directives, labour disputes, technical failures or other unforeseen events.

11. Limited Liability Clause
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ATTS, its directors, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, expense or claim arising out of or in connection with attendance at any course, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.

13. Amendments
ATTS reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version published by ATTS shall apply to all course bookings.
