  • Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent with basic electrical knowledge.
  • Minimum 2 years related work experience

Application procedures
All applications are to be submitted (with full documentation) via email (enquiry@atts-asia.com) at least 7 working days prior to course commencing date. Successful applicants will receive the course confirmation and payment advisory email. Registration is only confirmed upon full payment of course fees.

• Apply safety practices in the planning and execution of electrical work.
• Use appropriate protection methods for electrical equipment and systems.
• Explain Ex equipment nameplates
• Execute electrical installations in hazardous areas in compliance with safety requirements.
• Install appropriate Ex equipment based on the area classification and maintain the equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Demonstrate understanding of hazardous areas, principles of area classification and specialized equipment used in hazardous areas;
• State the relevant legislation, standards and certification schemes (ATEX, IECEx) governing Ex equipment.

Certification
Upon completion and passing of all required assessments, participants will receive 2 formal recognition through the award of a Statement of Attainment (SOA) issued by SSG: Electrical Engineering Management & Certificate of Training issued by ATTS: Apply Electrical Installation and Maintenance Principles
It is recommended that the course be retaken every five years to ensure that participants are up-to-date with the latest standards and best practices in the field.
