Overview
This course is aimed at establishing an underpinning knowledge to give an overview of the requirements of working safely in explosive atmosphere. On completion of the course, the participants will be able to:
- Understand the legislation and directives on explosive atmospheres
- Understand the basic principles of area classification
- Understand the principles of the various types of explosion-protected equipment
- Identify and interpret equipment marking
- Understand the safe work and isolation practices in hazardous areas and equipment
Who Should Attend
Designed specifically for Training Manager, Project Manager, Purchaser and Non-Practitioners to enable a greter appreciation of the hazards associated with working in explosive atmospheres and the promotion of safe working practices.
